Return and Exchange Policy

At Bella Vita International, we want to offer a simple and satisfying shopping experience. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our return, exchange, and store credit policy below.

1. General Policy

All final sales are non-refundable.
We do not offer refunds for purchases made through our online store.

Depending on the eligibility of the returned product, we may offer an exchange.

2. Time Limit to Submit a Request

Return requests must be made within 30 days of the date the order is received.

After this period, we reserve the right to refuse the return, exchange, or issuance of store credit.

3. Eligibility Conditions

To be eligible for an exchange or store credit, the item must:

  • be in its original condition
  • not have been used
  • be returned in its original packaging, when possible
  • be accompanied by valid proof of purchase

We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions.

4. Non-Eligible Items

The following items are not eligible for exchange, store credit, or return, except where required by applicable law:

  • sale or clearance products
  • personalized or custom-made products
  • products opened, used, or damaged by the customer
  • any other item identified as final sale

Where applicable, this information will be indicated on the product page.

5. Return Procedure

Before returning an item, the customer must contact Bella Vita International to obtain return instructions, by email at info@bellavitainternational.com.

Any merchandise returned without prior authorization may be refused.

The customer must provide:

  • their order number
  • a description of the reason for the return
  • photos of the product, if the item is damaged or defective

6. Return Shipping Costs

Except in the case of an error on our part or a situation covered by applicable law, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

7. Damaged, Defective Products or Order Errors

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or different from the one ordered, please contact us within 5 business days of receiving your order.

After review, we may, depending on the situation:

  • replace the item
  • process an exchange
  • issue store credit
  • or apply any other appropriate measure in accordance with our legal obligations

In Quebec, an internal policy does not eliminate the legal remedies that may apply to a defective product.

8. Exchanges

We may accept an exchange when an eligible product is returned in accordance with this policy and subject to stock availability.

If the item requested in exchange is no longer available, store credit may be offered instead.

9. Unclaimed or Refused Packages

If a package is returned to us because it was unclaimed, refused, or because an incorrect address was provided, Bella Vita International may:

  • refuse a refund
  • refuse an exchange
  • issue store credit, at its discretion
  • or charge reshipping fees before sending it again

10. Order Cancellation

An order may only be cancelled if it has not yet been processed or shipped.

Once the order has been shipped, it can no longer be cancelled. It must follow this return, exchange, or store credit policy, where applicable.
